Welcome to Mnueron (“Mnueron,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Mnueron provides AI memory synchronization, chat history management, context retrieval, SDK integrations, browser extensions, and cloud/local memory infrastructure for AI tools, applications, and agents.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website, applications, APIs, SDKs, browser extensions, cloud services, and related products (collectively, the “Services”).
By using Mnueron, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect

Depending on the product configuration, this data may be:
- Stored locally on your device
- Stored in your own infrastructure
- Stored in Mnueron cloud systems
- Temporarily processed in memory without persistent retention
You control which mode you use.
2. Local-Only Mode
Mnueron may offer a “Local Mode” where memories and chat history remain entirely on your device.
In Local Mode:
- Data may never leave your device except for optional external AI model requests you initiate
- Mnueron may have no access to locally stored memories
- You are responsible for securing your local environment and backups
Because Local Mode is self-managed, Mnueron cannot recover lost local data.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and operate the Services
- Synchronize AI memories and context
- Improve memory retrieval and relevance
- Enable AI integrations and workflows
- Authenticate users
- Process payments and subscriptions
- Monitor reliability and abuse
- Improve system performance
- Develop new features
- Provide customer support
- Comply with legal obligations
We may also use aggregated and anonymized data for analytics, research, and product improvement.
4. AI Processing and Third-Party Providers
Mnueron may integrate with third-party AI and infrastructure providers, including but not limited to:

Mnueron is not responsible for the privacy practices or data handling of third-party services you choose to integrate.
5. Browser Extension Permissions
Mnueron browser extensions may request permissions necessary to:
- Access supported AI chat interfaces
- Capture user-authorized chat content
- Store local memories
- Synchronize cloud memories
- Enable retrieval and recall features
- Detect active AI sessions
- Authenticate users
Mnueron does not intentionally collect unrelated browsing activity outside supported integrations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Local Mode data retention is controlled entirely by you.

Mnueron uses commercially reasonable safeguards intended to protect information, including:

- Security logging

However, no system is completely secure.
You acknowledge that:
- Internet transmissions may not be fully secure
- AI systems may involve inherent risks
- You are responsible for protecting your credentials and local systems
9. User Responsibilities
You agree not to use Mnueron to:
- Violate laws or regulations
- Store malicious code
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Process unauthorized personal data
- Harm or exploit others
- Interfere with service integrity
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have appropriate rights and permissions for any data you upload or synchronize.
A. Bring-Your-Own Storage (S3 / R2 / B2 / Google Drive / future)
When you connect Mnueron to storage you control — including AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or any future bring-your-own backend — Mnueron orchestrates reads and writes against the credentials you provide but does not operate, harden, or insure that infrastructure. The security posture of your bucket, drive, or filesystem (encryption at rest, public-access settings, IAM scoping, credential rotation, regional residency, backup integrity, audit logging) is your responsibility.
By electing a bring-your-own storage mode you acknowledge that Mnueron is not liable for unauthorized access, data loss, regulatory penalties, or service interruption resulting from your storage configuration, credential handling, or vendor-side incidents at the upstream provider. B. Mnueron-Hosted (Paid) Storage
If you elect Mnueron-hosted paid storage, Mnueron operates the security layer on your behalf, including encryption at rest (pgcrypto and AWS KMS envelope encryption where applicable), row-level security per organization, append-only access logging for sensitive operations, backup integrity, infrastructure patching, and the obligations summarized in §8 (Security). Paid hosting does not change your obligations as the account owner — credential hygiene, access provisioning, and lawful processing of uploaded data remain your responsibility.
C. Bring-Your-Own LLM / Vendor API Keys
Mnueron supports bring-your-own keys for third-party LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, and others) and similar vendor APIs. When you paste a key into Mnueron, it is encrypted server-side and used only to fulfill your requests. Provider charges are billed directly by the upstream vendor under their terms — Mnueron does not resell their service. Provider availability, data-handling posture, and content-policy decisions belong to the upstream vendor, and Mnueron is not liable for outages, model output, or downstream provider data practices.
D. Useful Insights and Derivative Content
Use of Mnueron necessarily produces derivative content — embeddings, summaries, decisions, action items, links, search indexes, and analytics over the source material you ingest. By using the Services you grant Mnueron a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process your data and produce these derivatives strictly to provide the Services to you. This includes serving useful insights, query results, and dashboards over data that you have pointed at your own BYO storage. Mnueron does not claim ownership of your source data and does not use customer data to train third-party foundation models. You may revoke this license at any time by deleting the data and disconnecting the integration.
Revocation scope and known limitations: (i) when you delete your account as the sole owner of a workspace, the workspace and all org-scoped data CASCADE-delete with it (memories, embeddings, meetings, transcripts, decisions, action items, projects, encrypted secrets, integration credentials); (ii) when you leave a workspace where other owners remain, content you contributed to that shared workspace stays unless another owner deletes it — your individual departure does not purge group-authored material; (iii) decisions and action items extracted from a deleted memory persist with their parent meeting until the meeting itself is deleted; deleting the meeting (or the workspace) cascades these derivatives away; (iv) Stripe billing-customer references are retained per financial-records obligations and are not customer content; and (v) the secret access log retains decrypt-event audit rows in append-only form for compliance review and is exempt from user-initiated deletion (the underlying secret material is destroyed; only the metadata of who accessed it and when survives).
10. Sensitive Information
Unless explicitly supported by a secured enterprise agreement, you should avoid storing:
- Highly sensitive medical information
- Financial account credentials
- Government-issued identifiers
- Highly confidential trade secrets
- Data regulated under specialized compliance frameworks unless separately agreed
AI systems may generate inaccurate or unintended outputs. You should independently verify important information.
11. Children's Privacy
Mnueron is not intended for children under 13 years old.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided information, contact us for removal.
12. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries different from your own.
By using the Services, you consent to such transfers, subject to applicable law.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access your information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete information

Use of open-source components may be governed by their respective licenses in addition to this Privacy Policy.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mnueron disclaims all warranties, including:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy
- Reliability
- Security
AI-generated outputs and memory retrieval results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unexpected.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mnueron shall not be liable for:
- Data loss
- Lost profits
- Business interruption
- Security incidents
- Indirect or consequential damages
- AI output errors
- Third-party service failures
Your use of the Services is at your own risk.
18. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
Changes become effective upon posting the updated version.
Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Mnueron uses automated systems, embeddings, vector search, and AI-assisted retrieval mechanisms to provide memory and synchronization features.
AI systems can produce probabilistic outputs and may not always retrieve complete or correct context.
Users remain responsible for validating outputs and decisions derived from AI systems.
